Another 24 systems for ODS Steel

The Dutch concern ODS took delivery of 20 new trailers and 4 trucks with a Netcap superstructure for the fourth time. ODS, which is part of the German Kloeckner organisation, is the largest ‘Multimetal’ distributor in the Netherlands.

The purchase of a fourth series of vehicles with Netcap sliding tilt systems proves beyond any doubt the customer satisfaction of the Netcap concept: Opening the tilt in no time, un-loading long loads and close quickly before going on to the next address!

5 Sliding tarp systems for DHL

The Danish company MTDK has supplied 5 trailers with sliding tarp systems to DHL.

By supplying a custom built system, DHL can position a 40ft container on the trailer platform prior to sliding the tilt over the container and then tensioning it.  The container is always covered and the DHL logo is always visible.  After unloading the container, the trailer can be used for general cargo on the return leg. The trailers can also be extended by 2.00 metres when transporting 15.00m long tubes. That is flexibility!

New Airbus contract for Charles Gee

The English operator Charles Gee has secured another contract for Airbus by adding 2 trailers to the fleet with the Netcap sliding tilt system.

The transport of wing parts from Toulouse to Chester was difficult enough. The parts are 13.00m long and roping and sheeting presented its own problems. Since the 2 Netcap systems have been used,  the loading and dis-charge process is quick and easy and the load stays dry.

Charles Gee can bring the the folded tilt behind the trailer, giving a complete 13.60m clear area for loading and un-loading. This method has gained favour with Charles Gee and Airbus raising confidence for further orders of this design.
