Tensioning

There are two methods of closing the rear.  The standard method is a system using the wide trolleys with an over centre tensioning bar.  The sliding tilt is locked with one turn of the handle operating the over centre lock which tensions the sliding tilt perfectly.

For superstructures with a large area of tilt sheet, Netcap has their old locking system available.  This consists of two stanchions with ratchets that are placed into stanchion pockets.  The ratchets are fitted with tension straps and hooks, and when applied will pull the trolley backwards.

The front of the system is fitted with a flap and aluminium tension poles similar to many curtain sided vehicles.  These poles are fitted with a tension device and when turned will pull the front trolley towards the headboard thereby tensioning the tilt sheet.
